In This Video We Are Dyno Testing My Xlc 500 & comparing The standard cdi against the aftermarket Procom cdi,
1st run is on the procom cdi & the 2nd,3rd pulls are on the standard cdi
My Main Performance Mods are as followed
Tk racing full exhaust system
DynoJet stage 3 kit using 180 main jet
AMR monster coil pack & silicone lead
procom cdi
velocity stack air intake
15t front 28t rear
(from new these make 41hp as standard)
Factory cdi is 53hp & 35ftlb
Procom cdi is 53hp & 35ftlb
We have found there is no power gains from the upgrade cdi as claimed by procom
Only a few extra mph up top with the extended rev range
my personal opinion is that this is a waste of time & money 🤷♂️
