high heat & speed to rough dry removing moisture. high heat & low speed to polish & wave/curl and bend. The high heat is key for having the hair to curl, wave, slick, or take any shape. low power to help concentrate the air flow so it’s not blasting everywhere and have it frizz up. then cool shot to set the hair. & yes curling/waving it with damp hair helps it take shape better! Learned this from a pro stylist!

As you continue to experiment, I think a cool and fun idea would be to post the hairstyles as shorts as well as compiling them over time to create another YT video like "showing different hairstyles I did with Dyson", that's pretty cool

Aw ofc! The 2 barrels come in the one set together!!! One is thicker 1.6 inch one is 1.2 inches!

Just got the new one:) works better with wet hair from my experience. I’ve actually had a hard time with dry hair. And also feel like my hair is turning out better with more practice

Okay thanks so much girl!! I am gonna try it on wet hair! Do you have wavy hair? How wet do you leave it? If I air dry too long it starts getting wavy so I’m scared it’ll come out weird!

you need to get the r&co detangling comb! super aesthetic color and pairs well with ur dyson. It helps detangle and glide through the hair without the snagging. & distribute products evenly!

Do you recommend this still? Do the curls last longer than a day or two for you? Do you find your hair frizzes more or less with this than if you style with other tools?

I still recommend it as I use it weekly! I don’t curl my hair every time I do it but when I do they don’t last for over a full day, I just touch them up & don’t mind the loose waves. I also don’t have layers right now so i think it plays a part in how my curls look personally lol when I cut my hair Ill do an updated video with curling it! Also I don’t experience frizz as much anymore because I found hair products that help control that for me! Right now my obsession is the straightening brush attachment!

You only have to buy the attachments. They work with the old model.

How do you store the items in the box? The air wrap barrels are so long and I don’t understand how it all sits after I’ve unboxed it

I honestly store it how it came , so I lay the base down on the little piece that came with it and tuck the wires under, then the other half I lay the barrels down horizontally along with the round brush attachment & the blow dry attachment and then I stand the 2 smoothing brush attachments on both the right and left side in the little slot that’s there

I have a similar hair type as yours and if you go from towel dried hair (pretty wet) then dry/ style in sections you will get a smoother result because your hair is wet. For curly hair after rough drying with the dryer switch to the firm smoothing brush at the top only then curl the bottom with damp hair this is how you get results for days. I have the wide tooth dryer attachment and this works the best to smooth out curly hair at the roots instead of the regular dryer attachment Also by using a holding product helps the curls last. I've found the Paul Mitchell flexible gel works so well on my hair just a little bit on damp hair it really holds the curls and brushes out nicely. If you like your hair all being on the drier side you can dry it completely then with a spray bottle dampen each section before curling.

Oh and use tension tension tension lol you do this by moving the wand back and forth. & don't be afraid to do high heat and fan for the curling I hold the heat and cool shot longer since this is my hair type and it needs a little heat to smooth/hold and to really dry it. Regardless it won't damage your hair as much as a hot tool and you will see a big difference in your hair. Also use the smaller barrel if you want it to last longer/have more bend.

They adjusted the attachments and you can now alter the way the airflow goes on each airwrap for example rather than switching the attachment for each side of ur head

I’m only watching this to rebox it for a return. Don’t waste your money. It curls the hair but it doesn’t even hold, not even with hairspray.

This is not an unboxing. You actually don't film the process of unboxing, which is important in such type of videos. I need to see the exact complectation of all the packages, but I don't get it.. Dislike.
