What’s the difference between Dyson V11 and Dyson V11 Absolute?
In short, the V11 Absolute is the smaller, lighter version, while the V11 Outsize is bigger.
The Dyson V11 Outsize is specifically engineered for larger North American homes (as opposed to those European flats) and features a 150% larger bin, 25% bigger cleaner head, and swappable batteries to support longer cleans with up to 120 minutes of runtime.

Dyson says the new V11 Outsize has the most powerful motor ever, the Dyson Hyperdymium, and it generates 20% more powerful suction than the V11 Absolute.
Difference between Dyson V11 and Dyson V11 Absolute: What’s in the box?
You’re going to get some of the same tools and heads with these vacuums. The main differences are that the High Torque cleaner head (main cleaner head) is bigger on the Outsize, but with the V11 Absolute, you get an additional head, called the Soft Roller head, which is made to better get dust and small particles off hard floors. That one is not in the Outsize package.
The Dyson V11 Outsize also comes with an extra swappable battery, V11 doesn’t have a removeable battery, through both use rechargeable batteries.

One of the selling points Dyson makes with the V11 Outsize vacuum is that it gets 120 minutes of battery life. The Dyson V11 Absolute by comparison gets 60 minutes.
So is that because the battery technology has been improved? In short, no.
A new offering with this vacuum is not just one rechargeable battery but two, swappable batteries included. There’s also two power cords so you can keep both the vacuum and the extra battery charged at all times. Giving it a full charge takes about 4.5 hours.
With both batteries, Dyson says you’ll get plenty of power and 120 minutes of cleaning time. If one battery starts to wane, swap it out with a click.

So which Dyson V11 should you get? In my opinion, the V11 Absolute better for:
Smaller spaces
Homes with less carpet, more hard floors
People who need the lightest possible portable vacuum
In my opinion, the V11 Outsize is better for:
Homes with a lot of carpet; the bigger head cleans them faster and with fewer passes .
Larger homes and spaces
Multi-level homes; since you can keep one battery charging on each floor and keep on cleaning
