There’s a difference in turrets, y’all are talking of having a better E-100 turret which has corners in front instead of rolled armor. This model has the Maus turret, just say the one from World of Tanks variant

FINALLY! I have been waiting for an updated E-100 design from cobi for years! It doesn’t even bother me that they took the easy route and mounted the maus turret instead of the Krupp II one for I have already built what I believe is the first publicly known cobi Krupp II turret for an E-100. (But I would love to be proven wrong) I cannot wait to snag this beast and modify it to its full potential

i personally prefer how the Maus turret looks on the E100, but the Krupp II turret would have been really nice. now i just got to keep an eye out for this magnificent set.

it would have mounted the maus turret at first as it would have made sense to use as it already being built. Then they may have switched. As we only ever had the hull and no turret it could be anyones guess what it looked like. There prototype blueprints and that it.

I swear I must have watched a thousand different Maus and E-series videos in this channel yet I keep coming back. There's just something about superheavies that translates really well to bricks.

That's because super heavies are so big that all the details fit perfectly with Lego like bricks. Compared to a smaller tank which would take a lot more detailing to get the right angles.

With Cobi now doing prototype tanks I feel it is no longer unreasonable to hope for an MBT-70/Kpz-70 in the future, I mean c'mon it's one of the coolest failures in tank design and would look great alongside their current M1A2 Abrams and Leopard 2 models. It would also be interesting to see how they'll simulate the hydropneumatic suspension system which if done right they could easily re-use for future Japanese MBT models and vice versa.

Another massive tank build by Cobi. Definitely sign me up for this one. Last years Maus I thought was fantastic to both build/display, and the interior/engine detail on this one seems to be about the same level. Turret looks very similar, and though the E-100 looks wider it probably sits lower than the Maus. Still really cool/intimidating design.

I discovered Cobi back in 2016, I have their Tiger 1 and 2, Panzer 4, Jagdpanther, Maus and M26 Pershing. I've been waiting years for the E100 to become a set because the tank is one of my favorites to play in WoT and its also one of my favorite looking tanks as well.

It looks amazing with the new look of the E-100, in real life it was a trackless and bearly built hull of this tank since the production never really got to the turret leaving it as a mystery of what it would've looked it if completed. Sadly the hull for it was scrapped when either British or American forces captured the sight with it after the war was over. Mark Felton Productions made a video about it if anyone wants to watch it.

They had build the tracks, the hull and the side skirts. There is a picture in the tank encyclopedia were the British have it assebled it with tracks.

There are four different turrets for the E-100, the maus turret built by Porsche, the squared turret built by Krupp, the E-75 looking turret made by Adler, and the Tiger 1 looking turret built by Henschel.

Great and frightful tank! Fortunately it was just a prototype: if it had been mass-produced, its heavy armament would have been a "big" problem for the allies. A few days ago I finally received COBI's HMS Warspite😄, a battleship that I admire for its intense military history.

LOL no all it would have been is a sitting duck for every fighter bomber or an infantry man with a bazooka could knock of a track. In fact all it would be able to do is defend railway stations as it would only be able to be transported that way due to its weight. The jagtiger had a 128mm gun and was built and was useless most of the time due to its weight. The e100 project was just to keep some engineers from the front line in russia.

Well this is convenient as mine is in the mail... Turret removal and access becomes easier with the same two mods I did to Maus: 1: Remove the 1x2 tiles with single stud in the turret and replace with smooth 1x2 grey tiles, let the roof be just resting there... 2: Remove the 4x4 with pin connector that attaches the turret to the hull and just let the 6x6 rounds be a friction fit in the hole...

I have made a mockup with the E-100 Tankdestroyer. I dont like the Maus turret on the E-100. And the barrel looks too small. Maybe I will get it and modify it to my liking. Great video and comparison.

Did you contact Cobi about the missing part? I think they send those out. Also; a lot of those rounded parts seem to be new to Cobi (or in general) Nice Though I might be wrong about that. Overall it seems like Cobi got a new designer. Or maybe new inspiration for the old designer. Quite a few new techniques.

Servus lieber BM: '1 dickes, fettes Thumps up wieder für dein Speedbuild!!! 👌👍🔝😀 jedoch' nicht für den 'leider schon wieder mal fad-grauen, einfallslosen Cobi-Pot um! €125,-,die haben echt' nen Knall,🕵️ (das Set kann Man(n), sofern Kreativität besteht, bis auf wenige Curved Slopes aus vorhandenen U-Boot-Parts!) und aus der Cobi-Maus, halt ohne Prints selbst konstruieren! 😅...das 'Beiwerk ist ganz nett u. die Figuren sind auch klasse gewählt!' - für mich als auswählender Sammler ist das Set leider nix! 🤔😏PS: 'war halt ein reines Papierprojekt, obwohl 1 Prototyp realisiert wurde u. anschließend der Verschrottung!zugeführt! wurde!!! 😆- trotzdem, lieben Dank für dein Bemühen u. В некоторых источниках говорится что проект Е 100 был разработан на основе проекта танка Tiger- MAUS который разработал Порше и был похож на е 100 с башней маус, но я так и не нашел внятной информации и достоверных чертежей к этому танку
