Listening to this video in a LomiLomi class out in NC. I am so into this song and video that I have been watching it everyday. I intend on moving to The Big Island in a couple of years.

We sang this song as a group of LomiLomi Massage Therapy students. Hubby and I went to O’ahu and the Big Island for our 25th wedding anniversary/honeymoon back in 2017 and were looking to move there in 2021 or 2022. He died from complications of having had 2 COVID-19 related strokes in Dec 2021. Your song had many pictures from sites we had visited in 1994 and 2017. It is a beautiful tribute to the spirit and beauty of the Hawaiian islands and its people. I am still planning on moving there.

I've sung this song for many years in Dances of Universal Peace, and this recording is the most beautiful one I've heard of the song. And the film is gorgeous too. Thanks so much for creating this and sharing it.

@@shaktimuller6912 Hi Shakti, Yes, your recording and the film are saturated with love and community. I am going to be leading this dance on zoom, and I am wishing I could sing the melody of the earth and sky part the way you did because I really like it. It feels very strong, solid, like the commitment to taking care of Earth. But I think changing the melody would be confusing for people who already know the song, especially on zoom, where we have to mute everyone except the song/dance leader. What I do plan to do though, is in the followup to the dance, I am going to send them your video so they can enjoy it. Blessings to you. 🙏💜🎶 Kathleen P.S. I presume you know Leilah Be has created a DUP dance to go with this lovely song. I have no problem as a musician with experience playing the song but I was seeking a write-up for some who don't do so well with ear learning. I can understand none being available because it's your song. Is there a write up available? Thanks for the lovely song regardless.
