E/P50. The Shropshire union canal . Wheaton Aston to Gnosall.

Hi folks
In this vlog we crack on up the Shroppie leaving Wheaton Aston and head north to our next stop which is Gnosall. The canal starts to get interesting here as we head out in to the countryside and come across our first canal cutting and tunnel . I will try to upload every Wednesday and saturday at 7pm from now as long as the weather and internet signal allow.

that tunnel was amazing the colours of the bedrock were fantastic! ..its like an actual cave, the reflection of the water makes the colours stand out😀 good bit of film.

Yes it all goes well till they poo and I have to stop the boat. That's why I make sure I only let them off after a long walk 😁. Thanks for watching Alan 👍

Good to see you still enjoying the canals. Foxes afloat and cruising the cut are out of the canals. Sold the boats. We think it's because they got too famous.

I wouldn't know 😅🤣 . I'm a bit of a traditionalist and knew they would never stick it. There will be more in the future but not me. I love my canals and the general freedom of nature and just being off grid away from the house and bustle of modern life. It's my little escape 😊

Hi Del, and boys😀. Beautiful country indeed. Although I don't live there now, England will always be my home, where my ❤ is. I miss it so much even though I know its changed. Life didn't ordain j should live and die there though. So now I explore with my three faces, and it makes me happy😃😄. Safe travels Del, Archie and Spike.😘😘😘.

Dynamite was invented in 1867. I don't know when the cuts were made. But I took that into consideration of the amount of labor and frustration to build them.

I was wondering if you don't mind telling me, you added 10 feet to dodger, would it be cheaper to have sold it and bought a bigger one? Was it expensive or did you do the work yourself? I was looking for puppy pictures of the whippets. You said you were going to show them, or I missed them. I want to go over there from NY and rent a boat for a few weeks, but I learned that I can't do it alone because of insurance reasons from the rental companies. It's 1 on my must do before I die list. I don't know why your channel isn't as big as cruising the cut or foxes afloat were. You're not going to get the gay following that foxes probably had, cruising the cut was probably popular because of his editing. Cheers.

Hi Thomas Dodger had a large swim so was suitable for extending. I did it as I wanted a compartment to store parts and tools so that I could work from the boat so he's a bit of a one off. There should be some companies that should rent you a boat. Try Brewood cruisers. As for foxes and cruising the cut. To be honest I don't want the channel to get that big but slowly and surely I'm learning to edit. I didn't class any on them as real boaters. They were in it to earn money. I'm not. I work for a living and do it to document the life that I love. Take care and thanks for watching.

No the swim is the part of the boat at the rear that narrows on to the propeller lol 😆
