The problem Ameer has been facing is a lack of focus & concentration in one particular field only. He has a handful of issues in disparate fields. He has brought that situation to himself. He would be robbed of success, he deserves due to his innate ability. If the latter were distributed among multifarious activities, success would be a moot point. Assured success wouldn't come easily & often. It may come, but it would be only far & in between. This applies to all & sundry in every field. Acting is the forte of Rajinikanth & Kamal. They loved it, succeeded & are still succeeding. But the moment Rajni was eager to enter politics, luckily, wise counsel prevailed on him & he retreated safely. Otherwise, he would have been an utter disaster in politics like Kamal. The same applies to Ilayaraja. Most of the tamils all over the world are used to get lulled into sleep, at night hearing his ever green songs, particularly melodies. Yet the moment he tried to poke his nose into politics, their backlash was severe. He was castigated & subjected to third-rate criticism. The medical field is the best example of specialisstion. A specialist is widely sought after & well known than a general practitioner, however good the latter might be. Only a specialist earns name & fame with money. The reason is not far to seek. Specialization gives him adequate time for concentration in one field only. Time enables him to go to the root of any difficult problem in his area of specialisation. He could go to any extent to get it, solved. Ameer may be multi talented, but time for specialization would become minimal due to his multifarious activities in unrelated fields. His mental sharpness would become a casuality. Generalization is considered as knowing "something about everything". Specialization is knowing "everything about a particular thing". Today's world is a world of specialization. The era of generalists is over & bye gone.
