Hi Mihai, I am very happy to hear that you have been inspired to experiment more with the PICO. It is truly a great microcontroller with a lot of capability. In a recent interview with Eben (from Raspberry Pi) he mentioned the next generation of this device and he sure seemed excited. As typical though indication as to when. Hi tomek3633, Always good to hear from you. You bring up a VERY GOOD point, actually a couple. First and foremost, you are correct that, yes, the reaction time/distance would have to be cut in half when considering a head-on collision - I believe I ignored that completely. Fast forward to now (the project is about 3 months further along now than that video) and I am currently refining the "rules of self driving" for the Zoomies in order to start programming that into the Zoomie. Yesterday I just started removing redundant safety devices I put into the system from my very first thoughts on how to do this whole experiment. In order for the Zoomie to get in the wrong lane two "systems" would have to fail for that to happen - however there is still an unsafe probability it will happen. With all that said, Yup, head-on collisions can happen, and I need to keep the code tight enough to hopefully react before mayhem happens. Also, there is another sensor coming up that may also help in this matter. Thanks again for the great question! Cheers! Chris
