Save your money buy a Tamiya TC-01 and fit a Touring car body. kit comes with the body mounts.

Do you have a TC-01? If so, tell me more as to why your prefer it... I'm sure one of us over on the channel will eventually get one. Looking at prices over here in USA, its $60 more than the TA08 and doesn't come with any electronics either. Only a body and tires which the TA08 doesn't have. Thanks for the comment.

The TA08 Pro is one hell of a great looking chassis!! I was tempted to get one myself, sadly at the moment, in the UK at least, spares and hop-ups are almost impossible to come by, and to be honest the price does put me off a little... Great video by the way, I enjoyed it :)

Thanks for the comment. I can see that about the price and then everything you'd have to add to it thereafter. Same here in the USA about parts and orders. Still waiting on my Tamiya Anniversary Porsche that everyone else in the UK got a few weeks ago.

The car is okay, and it does seem fast and all, very good... But damn, Phil was cool! And that RC collection, I already asked him for a video tour, I think you should make that happen, soon! With focus on buggies, of course, the only RC's worth reckoning with, ha ha!

Need like a 30min video of phil outtakes!!! Also the Mercedes with the green rims seemed to keep up with the ta08 if not beat it around. I wonder who drives that one 🤔

It happens when the car is driven for the first time with wrong tires. Let's see if it will keep up again. Just sayin doubt it I do hold both fastest lap time on fender bender

You are close. Phil lives out by the Hamptons. Its possible he was on the North side of LI and took this picture. Really not sure though.

I lost count after 100 lol but figure if it were just 100 I'd say 65 -70 out of the hundred are tamiya 😁
