vmp916 The only reason FONV was any good was because of FO3. FONV was like a professional mod. The world was horrible but the branching decisions i would say was the best part of FONV.

Bethesda Game Studios is not the same thing as Bethesda Softworks.. Bethesda Softworks only published Fallout NV, Obsidian Entertainment developed the game.

But believe me I know a bit about the dev teams behind each game. Was I was really talking about kind of goes hand in hand with what Stayler17. Whether your favorite game was Fallout 3 or New Vegas out of the two (and that is a popular discussion on forums) many agree that both titles have their good qualities. If Obsidian did something with New Vegas that that a lot of people liked wouldn't it help BGS to take note?

GIRco And another studio developed Fallout 1+2, something that they at least learnt and took something from while making Fallout 3 and also aknowledged when talking about Fallout 3 back then. I am a big fan of New Vegas (as it felt a lot more like the classic Fallout games), but I don't think Fallout 3 was bad. It was just different, which I mostly attributed to Bethesda's inexperience with the setting and franchise. Just because they didn't make it doesn't mean they ca or should ignore it. At least the expanded lore of FONV should find its way into Fallout 4, even if they don't plan to pick up some of the better gameplay elements of FONV, which I personally would like to happen.

Stayler17 I can tell you from my experience going to cons for years, its VERY rare that an entire panel gets filmed. Even when there are game journalists and people with fancy camara setups...I've never seen them film the whole thing. I used the document them when I went, but I've given up because I barely get a few hundred views. One day people will look back and regret that oversight for important games/announcements.
