You don’t have to connect your phone to play local radio stations, it has radio built in also allows you to set your own preset stations. You don’t need DSP amp but i do highly recommend as it crisps out the sound by whole lot. I have the link in my description of my video, it’s only $59. Yes, you should get it as the DSB makes the voice and sound more crisp. This is not amp but digital sound enhancement.
