There’s something about this map that I appreciate more than the 2nd iteration. I know it’s empty compared to the skate 2 but you can really see what’s skatable and it’s where I came up with my most creative tricks.

My favourite Skate game. Love the feel of it more than the first and despite the openness you mention I prefer the map. Sacrilege to remove the suburbs in favour of a forest of mostly nothingness. Also hands down the best game soundtrack.

I would love to see a full skate 1 playthrough and then a skate 2 playthrough Also I dont know how it particularly works with emulation but if you can get the filmer pack for Skate 2 and get some clips on that and make a little edit it would be so cool.
