EA Sports UFC 5 is the first time in the franchise that brings the Frostbite engine to use offering upgraded visuals to the latest MMA fighting game. They did the same with NHL 24's goal celebrations...which are so unrealistic, because the player that scored the goal celebrates by himself with the lights dimmed and a spotlight being put on them. They look just like the UFC 5 cinematic replays, and it happens for EVERY....SINGLE...GOAL.

@@gamerd8709The other sports games have only had Frostbite’s new hair tech since 2020. FIFA 21 was the first to get it and acted as the testbed for it. Anything before that uses traditional card-based hair that games have been using since the 2000s. So no, they didn’t lie lol

@@capnjelly6370Realistic movements! This is exactly how a fighting game should be. The Game ESBC is only bought because of the movement. EA UFC will not even come close to the movement alone in 10 years. Still Robotic and Stiff Stand up gameplay as always. EA putting long 3 Years for Cuts/Damage!? Phatatic! but what about the most importent thing about Fighting games? Every kick or punch looks the same. What about Unique Blows for every single Fighter? Since The first Game in 2014 they Changed Nothing, still Robotic and Stiff. Its very sad for mma/ufc fans.

That alone could take months. Not to mention migrating the game to a new engine and all the other stuff they added. It's all about time.

It's not about the game engine. There are no official statements from EA regarding PC ports so most likely it's an issue with either licensing, revenue or piracy.

my biggest issue with the previous UFC game was that the hit animations felt slow and unimpactful, hitting some1 with your kicks and punches some times felt very slow, and that would NEVER happen in real UFC, its much more vicera and bone crushing,

Can't be that much better when you have to make UFC4 clips black and white to show ANY difference! Blood on the mat building up is nothing new! "Walk out looks like real life." While the security moves nothing like a real human. Guys this presentation is absolutely embarassing! As with any other EA Sports game you guys again did just the bare minimum! And in my opinion that still isn't enough. This is a addon at max.

To be fair, there is a dramatic difference visually while playing the games. The beta made that quite clear for those that were able to play it. Your point still stands though, the game is a glorified addon that shouldn't be a full priced standalone game
