The most difficult part of taking minutes is to actually understand what is being talked about. When you are new, you don't yet know the business and the context.

This is more or less the same template I use. I try to type my minutes directly in One Note and keep them in separate tab per meeting. For the next meeting I copy the action points of the previous one to start with.
