For Final Act, the mode "Exile all graveyards" would have also triggered Konrad

As much as I despise using Konrad as a win condition, a month ago, as I was simply just trying to put the game out of it's misery, I was forced to use Rakdos Charm to exile the Konrad player's graveyard, dealing 10 damage to everyone else, killing our two opponents and hurting me, then Simic(+3/+3) and Boros(Double Strike) Charms on my Niv-Mizzet Guildpact to end him as well. Guildmage Tribal for the win.

It didnt really matter in this game, but don't forget that Konrad pings everyone when creatures leave your graveyard, so the milled Lhurgoyfs count as 2 pings when they get put onto the battlefield

@@macurvello I think it's more that her energy clashes with the table that makes that odd feeling. I don't feel talked down to, but when she is glowing, and everyone else is pretty stoic, well it stands out a lot. That said I think she be a joy to see in a more active pod or at a D&D session.

I'm sure most people see this, Veggie puts on an air of simply not caring too much if he wins or loses games. His deck popped off just enough that he was satisfied in dying. He is also just crooked and twisted enough that he usually is the actual threat. I feel like I'd really like playing with Señor Wagon de Los Veggies.

Airball, amazing intro! But i think you missed your golden opportunity of "if your opponents cant see the Forest for the trees, then all their efforts were to Waste" to get the wastes in there

Quick note... Phasing does not cause creatures to leave the battlefield. This means it triggers no ETB effects nor requires haste in order to swing. It is simply inaccessible. This is why one of my favorite removal cards in Black is Oubliette.

This gameplay just shows that depending on card draw and how/when to play your cards, using a underrated deck can come up on top. I can't tell you how many MTG players online have slandered the Graveyard Overdrive deck and overhyped the Eldrazi one. Obviously it's just one instance of gameplay and does not define the power level potential, but the outcomes can vary quite a bit regardless. That pov is rarely stated in MTG comment sections on youtube channels regarding these decks. People's biases & prejudices skew reality.

That’s correct, i guess in his mind he just multiplied 4 scute swarms times 5 lands to come up with 20. As they double in number with each land drop he actually would have ended up with 128.

@@MalteLewandowski As is understand it: The Lands from Frogantua enter simultaneously. So you cant have the lands enter one by one (land->copy->land->copy), but each Scute Swarm on the battlefiled sees 5 lands enter, so each active Scute makes 5 copies of itself. The copies enter after the lands entered, so no trigger for them.

I liked the jund face commander but to be honest, I was expecting the same problem the "pentacolor matters" dominaria precon had: lack of critical mass, because there's not much lhurgoyfs around and chagelings are not individually strong. Surprised it pulled out a flavorful win, not only were 3 milled creatures but also 2 commander triggers xD What are the odds? I personally would upgrade the deck trading the "just mill/discard" cards, like the stitcher supplier, for "mill/discard + upside" cards like seize the spoils, worldshaper, and the frogantua that showed in the game. Also safe "delirium" stuff to synergize with the goyfs and a little melee because the general gets more triggers the more players you conect hits.

I am actually excited for Cayth. I'm one of those weirdos. Just general enough to not be monolithic, and the open ended design allows for a LOT of ground up deck building. A very well designed commander IMHO.

Jund being jund. What is a strategy? Put like all good cards you have, take a general that draws a card, creates tokens or deals dmg, and that's it. Since 2009, jund being the most jund jund could ever be. Reason why all my jund decks are called King Crimson. "How your deck works?" - It just works. 😊

I am sad that Satya doesn't work timing-wise with Brudiclad (he makes and copies tokens at beginning of combat, she copies when she swings) but I love that we've got 2 decks so close to each other that are Jeskai Energy. We've also got 2 Eldrazi precons close together, which is neat.

First time watching your stream, and it was a blast! I love how you create and draw your tokens. It's really creative! I also appreciate how you meticulously track the graveyard types. Shouldn't there have been way more than 24 Scute Swarms after the frog attack? It should have been more like 128 because each trigger should have gone on the stack separately instead of all at once.

Nope. The lands enter at the same time as part of the resolution of the frog's trigger. The scutes see 5 lands enter at once then trigger rather than land -> trigger -> land -> trigger -> land -> trigger -> land -> trigger -> land -> trigger

just wondering.. how did the Lhurgoyf get 5/6 in the beginning? Can't see that 5 Card Types? Since Card Types are: artifact, creature, enchantment, instant, land, planeswalker, sorcery, battle and tribal? After the Boardwipe the types are: artifact, Sorcery and creature means 3? or was that just a missplay there?

We counted the types in the graveyard, and there were 5. So it was a 5/6.

Lands in yard from fetching by Zbexx and Airball's wayfinder trigger, artifacts from austere, creatures from austere, sorcery from austere or rampant growth, instant from Eureka moment from the satyr wayfinder should be 5.

Am I crazy saying that Syr Konrad would not trigger if MTGNerdGirl used the ability of her commander as it says the creatures enter the battlefield instead of going to the graveyard. I think Zeebeks didn't die to the mill

Even better, syr Konrad deals two damage for each goyf because they first enter the graveyard (first Konrad damage) and then they get put onto the battlefield (second Konrad damage). This is because disa's ability is a trigger, not a replacement!
