Early Season Food Plots! A Little Late

Hollowed ground, new food plots, fresh dirt, Liquid Fertilizer, arrowheads, and hard work. Paw Paw and Michael get some pre planting fertilizer in the ground as the Georgia bow season draws near. The excitement is on the rise on the Waddell farm. Getting some new food plots fertilized with BuckGro soil formula in preparation to plant some early season soybean fields.

I lost my dad a few weeks ago while prepping our hunting lease for deer season. It's been tough, but he passed doing what he loved. I don't bring it up to get pity or make people sad. I just see this video and relate to the bond you have with your dad and how hunting brings you closer. I was lucky to have that with my dad. This video made me think about that. So thank you. When you said it is as fun as hunting them, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. I feel the same exact way. I still love to hunt, but I love the land management aspect even more. There is always something to do. Subscribed!

I met Michael the weekend he got married to Christie in North Carolina. We talked for 5-10 minutes about hunting and our personal lives. This dude seems about as down to earth as can be. He’s living the life a lot of wish we could, getting paid to hunt and be an advocate for the sport. Keep it up Michael, and good luck to you and your family.

We have the same sprayer. Sticker says 25 gallons but if you look on the side of the tank it says 15gallons.

So for the liquid fertilizer, do you recommend applying it before you seed, right after you seed or wait for the seeds to start sprouting? In this video it looks like you are applying it before seeding or right after. Did you lime the field before you put this out? Please let me know, thanks!

Cool video. We see you making the circuit in the fall getting as much footage and hunts as you can and sometimes we think it must be that kind of a schedule all year long for that kind of a job. It is nice to see you enjoy some quality time at home. Although, I am from western Pa and that Georgia heat is not for me. :-)
