After some heavy rain and a major cold front went through our area, the fish have been in a funk. They should be up spawning by now, and lots of them moved back out to deeper, stable water and are waiting for the temps to rise again. Swim jigs and a senko tricked some nice fish into biting. Remember to always wear your life jacket when out in a canoe or kayak, you never know when you'll need it.
