I literally learned more about investing from Jack Bogles little book of common sense investing than I did on a thousand dollar course. That book cost me less than 10 dollars. Smh. Now I'm over 40 books or so regarding investing/personal finance and that's still been cheaper than that course.

I want people who didn’t go to Invest Fest to stop doing videos on it. Looking like a hater. I went to Invest Fest and I had a great time! I also learned a lot. I’ll be doing a video on it soon to talk about the pros and cons. These black men are promoting financial education! They are not selling drugs and they are not promoting self-hate music. No one bats an eye on rappers and music entertainers who have concerts. It is called an ROI! Do better, black man!

EYL deserves credit for making financial education relevant with the black community. They are a media company and have every right to monetize off their business. I mean lets keep it real you and other content creators are monetizing off of the scammer/grifter witch hunt movement, which i have no issues with either, but you are not creating content out of the goodness of your heart, everyone is after the dollar. what gets lost in all of this is how many people take courses and dont apply what they learned, knowledge without application is useless.

The problem is not being transparent about who they are presenting as "financial experts" and then acting as if they didn't know or benefit when they do. In a way, making themselves frauds because they are cashing in on the affiliate marketing program they have their "guests" on that particular show.

Why would they do something like that that is easily researchable and could be brand damaging? Is it possible that even though they did their due diligence they got fooled is that a possibility? @rolio9775 transparency isn't just for the beginning. Once they found out they refused to tell you, I am saying you because you may be a fan of theirs, and barely remove videos. Greg Parker still uses his interview with them to advertise. Big Bizzness has two real estate Rico charges, the first time anyone has heard of the Rico act being used in this manner. Now, EYL "University" has an MLM component to it, and they aren't frauds themselves?

The only financial person I ever followed and actually won with was Dave ramsey (7 baby steps)... I never paid for anything... I paid off all of my debt (took 2 yrs) I built up my emergency fund (1 yr) and now i'm on track to pay off the house early and investing.... People don't get scammed and just do the work.

Great video bro. I say the same thing. I made money other ways we will just say in the 90s. Your not going to get rich buying stocks as an average investor. I learned, you gain wealth by adding ""successful"(keyword) income streams in which you make profits, save alot of the profits you make, manage the rest effectively. Keeping inventory of the products you sell. These are the ways you grow money SUCCESSFULLY invest in yourself and your own companies 1st.

Y’all gotta stop acting like people should be perfect. I’m sure the game has changed tremendously for EYL and Ian because they found a formula during the perfect time that has brought them great success. 1st time checking out your channel, I like what JT do, but just seems like EYL does both things discussed. Yes they charge for the events (which I’m sure is a nice expense to them) but they have also given away a ton of information for free that has made folks some money…I been watching since day 1, have not spent a dollar but have definitely made some implementing that info into my trading/investing. I agree on the celebrities but they do have those “nerds” teach the people too..big problem is most of their audience is beginners and that advanced info goes over most folks heads. I think that it is the same as most of the people out here selling courses. I have never bought a course though, so I can't speak specifically on it. I think it's hard to see the value in courses because i believe most people dont know how to sit down and learn from video, especially the concepts involved in financials. It maybe a good networking situation if there is a good network to connect to. I never been to an event though. But I would compare it to music festivals, people may go for a good time and that may have value for them.

This is why two people can graduate from the same school of business, and one ends up a bartender, and the other ends up the CEO of a Fortune 500.
