WidowMaker said at the end of the short to Tracer - "Adieu, chérie", which is French for "Goodbye, love/dear". Basically a play on Tracer's signature "Cheers, love!"

Tracer's core is what anchors her to reality. It was built by Winston after Tracer was lost in time. If it gets destroyed she's lost in time again and can't be in touch with the physical world. If you watch Doomfist's origin story this actually happens

You know, I know this outrage is just to get comments but I'll bite. She didn't shoot through Tracer. Tracer blinked out. That is, Tracer jumped through time, which is something she can do, to avoid the shot. So when the the bullet arrived there was nothing to block it as Tracer was no longer there. Widowmaker is an exceptional sniper and has an ability to see through walls, but nothing in lore has demonstrated her rifle can pierce walls and in the game she definitely can't pierce walls or obstacles.

@@kinjiru731 actually, tracer was there. She shot through the thing that kept her in real time. But it was right in the center which is basically just energy. So the bullet went right through her. Of course though in the game or in the lore she can not shoot through walls.

Widowmaker is French, her real name is Amélie Lacroix and she was married to Gérard Lacroix who was an agent who was fighting against Talon which is a terrorist organization. They kidnapped her and altered her heart to slow it down which explains why her skin is blue, and mind controlled her. This is why she is compared to a spider and has spider-like abilities, she doesn't feel emotions anymore which makes her an excellent sniper/assassin. She killed her husband (reference to her name Widowmaker) in his sleep and her old self is basically gone, but in a comic you can see her mourning her husband, so maybe she's not completely gone?

...As for Tracer's time powers, it only applies to her own physical "time" - you may have seen that the Venom Mine's poison cloud was still lingering there as Tracer jumped back at Widowmaker. So unfortunately, she couldn't just undo Widowmaker's shot on Mondatta.

Depends on the caliber of the bullet hers yeah, but she had a M82 that thing was made for piercing though tank armor, and known for over penetrating walls of concrete and metal cover.

@@LeaderoftheFates m82? Bruh this aint call of duty, all the weapons here are fictional. Maybe you meant to say "IF" she had a m82. Her weapon don't have the same penetration power as a .50 cal. That weapon transforms between an assault rifle and a sniper, so it would make sense if it doesn't have high penetration.

I'm gonna add to the Widowmaker comments. WIdow actually DIDN'T miss in the Sombra trailer. She did in fact hit the Russian woman's earring. She would have hit the head but the lady was being pushed by security to indeed block assassination attempts. Widow never misses is still accurate. If u watch Sombra interact with the woman when Som is blackmailing her into being her "friend" you can clearly see the woman's earring is broken.

She knows of tracers ability and put it to her advantage, it was a win-win situation for her because she either shoots tracer or the robot and when you try to shoot through a wall, you have know how strong the material that was used and have enough power to pierce through it.

Widowmaker had a fear of spiders because they were said to be emotionless, empty creatures. Now she herself is like a spider. But she is not afraid because she comes to realize she does have emotion and is not just an empty thing. At the time of the kill, she is never more alive.

Basically, Tracer is permanently stuck in a relative flow of time. She's desynchronized from time as defined by physics. The device on her chest keeps her anchored to the present, so long as she's wearing it or within a certain distance (she puts it on a charger when she's at home with her girlfriend Emily in one Christmas comic). She uses this condition, which Overwatch scientist and groovy gorilla Winston calls 'chronal deceleration,' to rewind her relative position in time or make short jumps forward while keeping her perception in the present. In short, Tracer's power is "Fuck you, quantum physics."

If you're still wondering why Widowmaker is blue, Talon modified her body to slow her heartbeat - this reduced the minute vibrations through her blood vessels that would otherwise mess up her accuracy.

Widow the sniper was not going to shoot though the wall but though a room that had a pair of windows one facing her the other with the robot monk was who she was targeting, the trick shot at the end Widow knew one of two things will happen one she shoots tracer (what she was targeting is her chrono stabilizer, basically what keeps her in our flow of time, without or damage she would be jumping in and out of our line of time, disappearing and reappearing maybe 5 minutes or 6 days later with no control) 2. She blinks out of the way and hits the monk. So in her eyes it's a win win, but I think she knew tracer would blink out of the way, not knowing her true target of behind her.

Mondatta is an enlightened omnic. There are omnics that haven't achieved sentience yet but he has. That's why you can't just reboot him; she shot his brain so he's dead. Also she didn't shoot tracer, tracer teleported out of the way. (She can go back in time a few seconds, move super fast ("blink") and has her little bomb that she threw during the chase.)

Heeeya! Dont know how many of these you're gonna react to, but I see people calling for Overwatch: Zero Hour. I'd suggest you dont react to Zero Hour until you've seen all the other Overwatch Shorts, as there are some characters showing up in Zero Hour that you wont recognize until after you see the others. I also suggest watching them by release date, starting with the Overwatch Intro Cinematic. The list after that one is: Recall, Alive, Dragons, Hero, The Last Bastion, Rise and Shine, Honor and Glory, Shooting Star, Reunion and then finally Zero Hour. Hoping to see you react to all of them, they're all great in their own way.

So the reason why widowmaker was able to shoot through tracer's body is because tracer fazed out of reality. So earlier, tracer had become a pilot to pursue her dream, however she ended up crashing. the crash resulted in her fazing in and out of reality, and this was out of her control. Winston created that glowy thing to help keep her in this reality. so, when widowmaker fired, tracer unintentionally fazed out of reality, which allowed widowmaker to also kill mondatta, the robot

It ain’t a matter of calculating how to shoot through a wall, you wanted her to shoot that lady through a metal wall that seemed to be about a 12 inches thick. The bullet just ain’t powerful enough. And she didn’t destroy Tracer’s core, Tracer used recall(reverse time) to get out of the way.

In the infiltration video you acting like widow could shoot through a 7 inch thick steel and concrete wall. It is possible to go through a soft body made of flesh. It might be possible to shoot through the wall with a anti tank round or just a 50cal but i don’t think widow is packing that much heat.
