In the D.C. area, you need a high salary like this. The cost of living is absurd. It's really only ideal to live there if you work for the fed, or for a company that does work with the feds.

Not to be a hater but this guy WILL NOT go to the Olympics. To go to Olympics you need to jump 5.82m OR be top 32 in the world for this event, his personal best is 5.30m and his highest ranking was 203rd in the world. It is impossible to improve this much at 25 years old. That being said, Olympic Trials is a possibility since entry standard is much lower (5.40m) so he is only 10cm (4 inches) away which is possible to achieve. Obviously this guy is smart and he saves 3k/month and is worth over 100k at 25, so he is well ahead of 99% of people his age, but he is nowhere near Olympics level caliber when it comes to pole vault.
