I wish videos that were about fixing stuff would get to the point, because when people go there it means they're frustrated and need a quick solution

What sucks more is that my brother was the one who got to use my ear phones and when I was finally able to use my earphones the left one stopped working. Man this is just great

Just to clear this up, if you choose to do this, you will hear mirrored right side of audio recording, which means that if panned tracks have for example guitar parts or speacial percussion on left side, you will not hear those details. Therefore be sure that you have a problem with a pcb and not with broken solder connection or ear wax stuck in mesh on your earphones. Cheers!

I burn through so many pairs a year, some really good advice is to go onto settings on accessibility and then change the headphone channels to the left or right side.

Soldering iron? Even if we keep aside the fact I'm broke, how will I get one in quarantine.

Its not always that simple, copper is weak and flimsy metal and most often the wire itself loses connection, I can fiddle with the side of the wire thats defective and get both to contact, but this always wears out compoetely later. It could also be intentionally making one side of the wires weaker so only one breaks because its never symmetrical.

Here's a way to avoid this, do not sleep with your headphones on and bang your head on your pillow, that's how mine always stop working.

This helped my Earphone to work If ur Earphone works in a certain position Then find that position perfectly then tape the earphones it is working for me am so happy :) Hit the like button if your earphone fixed too.

My right side sudden started working while I was watching his video oh my god what a miracle

Hey! I did something like this but I just took a safety pin and pushed up that little plate and clicked the Pieces back together and it started working! Didn’t need to take anything out or glue anything

U know if there's and Indian in the thumbnail it's gonna work

Thanks for the tip and for over the ear headphones which connects only one speaker, we could try changing the aux cable. This trick helped me, but this may not be helpful for everyone.....

I thought the defect was in the headphones 🎧at first but later I found that its in my left ear 😂

This is the second time in a row that that this has happened to my Apple earphones. I have an iPhone 7 so I’m screwed

Me who has gotten like 6 pairs of headphones and one side of them only works still everytime: ok-

just cut the controller off and run the wires directly to the headphones, you can even do it without soldering

It's not always a manufacturing defect. Mine was bad so I cleaned the earwax and it started to work.

I had earphones and I fixed it. Take off the soft ear cushion thing, and blow. Spit it out just in case there's something dangerous, I won't lie I didn't spit it out and now my throat feels a tiny bit weird, but do that, put the ear cushion back on and your earphones will hopefully be working again. Worked a treat for me!

To be honest my earphones were not working one ear side but as soon as I dropped it by mistake on the floor and I picked it up and plugged in and to my surprise both side started giving sound. Thank God.

tip:if you dont want to do this method then you can try this.try twisting the ends and when you do sometimes it will work again.so get some tape and tape till it works.not a permanent solution but its still gonna last until you put new tape or get a new headset

Oh this got me so frustrated I started watching and then half way in my headphones decided to keep flickering between right side not working and both of them working and then it start just working on both side and stops flickering so I just wasted my time hanks a lot headphones ;-; but I still love u cuz u have a mic so I can voice chat in fortnite :)
