this helped me allot. i started from following another guide. I can say that the screen removal is completely unneccessary but does make it a little easier for one screw of the power button so i just skipped that part

very helpful thank you toook me like 2 hours to do. ran into a previously stripped screw which is wierd cuz my phone is new had to drill it out. putting it back together was hard finding the steps but couldnt have done it without video. thanks! would recommend for someone with chubby fingers to attempt

Finally got some thing to try out myself.

Fantastic Video, so professional and clear, was invaluable in helping me replace my iPhone 4s earpiece. Follow the advice at the beginning of the video and be sure to have a good 00no phillips screwdriver and tweezers, If I did this again I would try to have some adhesive with me, as some of the insulators/gaskets especially on the camera worked free.

I'm about to put the regulator back in with the brushes I ordered from you :)) My old brushes seem to have turned to clay/dust or something, and it's like yours. One smooth one black :) 800$ to chnge with BMW.. 8$ for the brushes :))Thank you Martin!!

great video, if you're into wasting your time doing countless unnecessary procedures. You can fix your earpiece by skipping ~85% of the disassembling shown in this video. They basically are showing the one video they made of "how to completely disassemble an iphone" and then editing out a few final steps. side note: this has to be an AT&T 4S or maybe a newer model, because it 100% is not a first generation verizon 4s. This could be irrelevant to you, but if it isn't, you could probably save some stressing out that the procedure is very similar, but everyone in your phone may not look exactly as in this video. Just a heads up.

I changed a 4s screen and now the ear piece doen't work. took apart again and all looks ok. what would anyone suggest? what are the chances the broken glass breaking the speaker? seem slim to me

You should skip Step #14, #15, #16, #17, #18 , and go straight to #19 after you removed the motherboard.

where the fuck can you get an earpiece ?

If I were you, I wouldn't use this video. I just replaced the ear speaker WITHOUT removing the front, or removing any of the side frame screws. You will waste a lot more time than needed if you follow this guide.
