@@Akazaji Yeah, if they had just marketed it as its own standalone game and simply called it "Space: Infinite Warfare" or something without any connotation to CoD then things might have gone over better.

​@@DanakarEndeelI for one avoided this game because I wasn't a fan of the direction CoD was taking at the time. I've since played the campaign and I agree wholeheartedly that if it wasn't a "CoD" game I would've probably played way earlier than this.

The 9 or so G’s required to do like any of the non warp stuff would cause everyone to pass out that is not wearing special gear and isn’t very well trained. The warp drive is relatively reasonable for sci fi, but space ships with only a rear thruster literally wouldn’t work for combat, you have almost zero control if you don’t have more thrust to brake and turn

Yea would love a ship to ship multiplayer or even one like battlefront galactic conquest where the fighters are battling each other but you can damage the main ship and land on it for boarding action also wish the vr game got a full length version and have access to the same multiplayer

same was curious so i looked it up.. "Back in the days of the Civil War, flag bearers were common military positions within the greater infantry and cavalry units. so @NafGGMU properly explains the charging flag. The way this works in reality is thus. If the flag is to be viewed head on - IE on the front or back of an article of clothing the starfield will be in the upper left corner. This is the typical view of the flag. When worn on shoulders or on the sides of vehicles the flag shall always appear to be charging towards battle, so the left side of the vehicle will have a flag that is the same as when viewed from the front or back - IE a left facing starfield so that the stars face the forward edge of the vehicle. The right side of the vehicle (or troop) will have a mirrored flag where when viewed head on the starfield will be in the upper right corner - again facing the front. And during a charge with an actual flag that will happen naturally since the back side of a flag is naturally inverted - stars towards the objective.

that is the reason why it was so unappreciated. It was labeled as a Killzone knockoff since it reminded players of Killzone. Players heard this, and stayed away from it. Common case of hearsay if u ask me.

The plot is in fact a recycling of Killzone. Hell, two actors from that game played in it !

You could still somewhat hear your own rifle due to the vibrations exciting the atmosphere in your suit. However, the other weapons making sound would make no sense unless they did like in Mass Effect using sensors to create sound to make use of hearing in combat.

In games suits have laser comms to help maintain awareness

The gun being held by the person shooting it can make sound from the vibrations of air in the suit, it just won’t be as loud as if in atmosphere. Guns in a battleship would be the same way in space, you would hear your own ships muffled shots just not the enemy fire.

Actually the in game explanation is that suits have like a laser comm system that makes sounds for the soldiers so that they have extra awareness
