Best horn section in the business. Tower of Power was second. Maurice had a unique vibrato. Thrilling for me, as a professional vocalist myself. I attended an EW&F concert in Philly in the early eighties. I went by myself. I had excellent seats. I was the only white girl in a sea of beautiful African-Americans. They kept passing joints down our row and flasks. I partook and I must say, I felt the love in that place. Unfreakingforgetable.

Rap music is such a injustice to this generation. These guys are the best, and no one can say different. I wish it would come back.

EWF FOREVER

After moving to the Chicago in 1975, EW&F was the first ever concert my wife and I went to. It was at the Chicago Stadium on the southside. Denise Williams was the opener. Truly one of the best we've ever seen and we have been to about 100 since then. I still have the ticket stubs. Maurice White, one of the best singers ever. What a voice.

David Foster did write this song. My husband knew him and sold him his house back in the 70’s. It is truly a amazing song and it really says it all when it comes to a relationship ending.
