I have been making cold pressed soap for 9 years. I am getting ready to make our big batch for the year. It is a good idea to have white vinegar near by while making soap. It will neutralize the lye if you accidentally get it on your skin. Enjoy your videos.

Wrong! Never put vinegar on top of a lye burn. It causes another burn because the reaction between NaOH and acetic acid is exothermic. Rinse well with water only. Also, it is cold processed, not pressed. No such thing as cold pressed soap

Hi, and thank you for your videos. I have a question for you, hoping you can help. My daughter has been trying to get pregnant for a few years now. She just turned 34, she had a pregnancy test back in November 2020, it was a faint positive and then a few days later, her period started. This type of scenario has been on going. So here's the question, what would you recommend to help in implantation of the egg, and or making uterus strong and healthy to hold an implantation and pregnancy?
@mamajewelAmber

Has she had her hormones checked? Vitamin ivs and hormones support (from a naturopath) helped me to get pregnant and carry my daughters to delivery.
@blackbones15

I don't know if she has had her hormones checked. I will ask her. I did buy raspberry tea and squaw vine to strengthen and tone the uterus, also nettle leaf, to decrease infertility, and to keep from miscarrying. Cramp bark, blue cohosh, and false unicorn root. Last 3 get mixed together and drank 3 x a day. I'm hoping and praying for her miracle as I know it severely breaks her heart each time she believes she's pregnant, late period, etc... then here it comes. Sometimes they are heavy like she's miscarrying. She relays this all to me. Anyway, thank you for your suggestion and support. If you have any other ideas, please feel free to contact me.

@@ouroilyhouse For a good cure it's between 4-6 weeks ... sometimes longer depending on the ingredients. You can use your soap as soon as the saponification process is complete, with cold process soap within about 72 hours. After that if you use your soaps, it will be safe, the only thing you will notice is that they will dissolve fairly quickly if they haven't completely cured. I generally do wrap my soaps, but it isn't necessary. I loved this video, thank you!

Milk of any kind is tricky to work with in soap making as the lye will burn the milk if you just mix it with the lye. I use goat milk powder which can be added after the lye water and oils are mixed together. That way the milk doesn’t burn and stays creamy white.

What! - 1 tablespoon of Camomile essential oil is in your soap batter? 1 tablespoon meaning 15ml? Do you mean three bottles of the DoTerra 5ml bottles of Camomile, costing around £135 or $150 wholesale alone?😳😳😳 Or have you diluted the essential oils? Please describe your fractionated coconut oil dilutions if you have done that to make it more affordable, whilst securing a long lasting scent for the soap. Soap making is such creative fun, a life-skill, and self empowering, along with creating other body care items. Essential oils are clearly the most expensive ingredient - and I’m glad you’re using that instead of synthetic fragrances which would be cheaper. Just tell us how you make the delicious chamomile essential affordable for soap-making. Would appreciate that, and thank you.
