This is the video in which I will show you a guide in Hearts of Iron IV, which I personally developed. We will be getting two achievements: "Miklos Horthy and the Habsburg Prince", and the second HOI4 achievement is "Better than the Szent István". Good luck and I hope you enjoy.

Potential Upgrade for the Guide: Letting Austria exist in Voralberg, so that Germany has to do Anschluss, meaning they declare war on Poland 70 days later, so you can take everything in peace deal with Allies.

Fun fact: if the czechs said yes to be a puppet while you change ideology they become an integrated puppet not a dominion

You should see these two black outlines on the left and the right, may this be advice for anyone reading this not to ever use Vegas as editing software, it is trash. This was caused by pictures I added at the start of the video, I tried fixing it and undoing, it didn't work, I would have to re edit, re render and reupload entire video just to fix this, sorry about the inconvenience, and please for the love of God, recommend me a decent editing software that will replace this joke I'm currently using.

An awesome guide that I will most likely end up using. This achievement is one of the few that I gave up on to come back to later thanks to needing a nearly full world conquest. After watching ISPs video yesterday, I felt it was time to give it a try again so here we go!

How do I defeat Luxembourg as Germany? I've created 75 width Self propelled Super Heavy Tanks, but they keep losing to Luxembourg's 2 width infantry division. Please help.

thanks for the awesome guide, I have a problem, France isn't guaranteeing Albania and I postponed Italy war for a long time till Albania submits to Italy with no guarantee from the Alies, is there something to do or I have to restart from the beginning?

In Zara port you can just do ctrl+right click... This way the troops will initiate only support attack(blue arrow instead of red) destroying the italian units but they won't enter the province. But if I'm not wrong they musn't be assinged to any frontline otherwise the order would change from support to normal attack

thanks man i got both of the achievements cause of your tactics. something different happened in my game,: czechoslovakia became a puppet (if they didnt, i would have died) and italy got into axis because i was late doing yugoslavian war. i started ww2 early with albania trick, defended on austrian mountains, exploited zara and pushed jnto italy. allies went dday without usa in 1940 because of that, then i killed germany. then order 66 allies, thanks a lot!

You can't declare on puppets, only on guaranteed countries

Help: When I tried the guide, it didn't work. When I garisoned france and UK and then declared war, my garisond Units spawned at my Capital. Maby paradox fixed it or I did somthing wrong. Please tell me what l should have done differently.

Ok how did you manage to annex Czechoslovakia?? For me its so random sometimes they accept sometimes they refuse sometimes they become a puppet state

honestly Idk, I just know that if you are a fascist and if they choose to be your puppet, they are going to have way lower autonomy than when you are non aligned, puppet Czechoslovakia is good enough anyway

You can still get an achievement, it is way harder however, plus if Czechoslovakia becomes your puppet, they will be a dominion, this way they would be integrated puppet

what you can do is not pick a focus for one focus then spy on germany/join their faction as soon as they start Sudetenland you start protect Czechoslovakia, you get the event 10 days before them, hold it. wait till they finish the focus then click your event at the exact hour they finish their focus. their event will have gone to Czechoslovakia, which doesn't exist anymore, so you get it the czechs and they dont get any wargoal they do get claims so they *can* justify, but I haven't seen them do that yet edit: which is very much incompatible with what was done
