Sure! I am Bulgarian, but I have been living in the UK for a long time.

Yes, but I did the end slightly different. I used the formula for the kinetic energy and rearranged to give the velocity. Then I used mv=h/2L and rearranged to get v, then set that equal to the rearranged kinetic energy equation.

hi sir, would you recommend memorizing definitions, since the teacher requires us to do so but i find it tedious
@zhelyo_physics
@zhelyo_physics 2 жыл бұрын
For A Level GCSE, it is worth remembering them but only remembering through understanding what happens. E.g. superposition being remembered in terms of the displacement being added for instance. Rogue memorisation I find just doesn't work.

It's only worth memorising things that come up frequently and can't be easily derived

A really nice idea for a next video would be to derive the electromagnetic wave equation from the Maxwell's equations, and also from there show that the Maxwell's equations are also relativistic, even that Maxwell and the other scientists did not know about it until the 1910s

Thanks a lot! I actually had a very similar idea so will definitely put it into practice. Thinking of doing an EM marathon too, with a full course of Electromagnetism in one year, from Coloumb's Law all the way up to Maxwell's differential equations in grad. form.

Sir, I want to ask a question , ..........about potential energy so as we know that gravitational potential at a point is the work done or the amount of work needed to move unit mass from infinity to that point so means if a point is near to the planet or the mass which is creating the gravitational field then you need to work more to move a unit mass from infinity to that point so this means potential energy near the planet is more than that of a point away from planet but in reality we consider the inverse of this statement that a point away from the planet has more potential energy than that point which is near .But in doing so we are considering that negative work is less than the positive work and this is not true.Also, then we are considering a EARTH the reference frame ,not infinity........... HELP

Sir why can't we use E=hv instead of E=p^2/2m
@zhelyo_physics
@zhelyo_physics Жыл бұрын
They would be equivalent and you would get the same result. Just in general, keep in mind that the expressions for momentum for a massless and massive particle will be different. Hope this helps! : )

Bonjour monsieur, are your contents the same regardless of the examboard? or are there some differences? can a Cambridge student watch all of your courses?
@zhelyo_physics
@zhelyo_physics 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there are some differences but around 90% of the material is the same. The best thing to do would be to google your syllabus and then tick off parts that you have revised. This way you'd be in control of your learning.
