In the main while, sign up for as many gig apps as possible and make money there. Continue to look for loads, see if you can beat the prices of the guy that transport tires at some of your local shops etc.

That’s a good and unique opportunity to start a business when you have all that time off. Yes it’s possible but focus on understanding your local market first. Don’t rush into it, learn as much as you can before you jump in. Look into opportunities in your area. Do you wanna stay local or go OTR, which cargo van would benefit you the most etc.

Yes! Even with some gig apps. turn them on whenever you want, do some jobs and turn it back off until whenever you’d want to do it again.

It’s possible but it might be tough. Some shippers/contracting companies might require previous experience. I’d say at that age what would hit you harder would be insurance. Continue to do your research locally, find opportunities and see what they are requiring for vehicles, insurance etc. look into gig apps as well!
