This comment is gonna sound awful and passive-aggressive, but I promise that that is not my intention. It is so inspiring to see someone so confident in their craft, even if many things are the exact opposite of what I was taught during my studies. It is refreshing and it reminds me that we are not saving lives, so we can just have fun. Plus a carefree/laidback/anti-design approach is very on trend rn. Your videos often inspire me to own my craft wherever it takes me. Keep up your unrestrained work!

Last step would’ve been needing to adjust the kerning of the A and N to match the rest, but otherwise, super awesomely quick challenge! I was biting my nails in anticipation at the end with the final countdown! 😂

I'm a little confused at a few things. You pick the rectangle of the font to make it bigger, but that isnt the default in AI. When you stretch the rectangle of the font, it just makes the rectangle bigger, it doesnt change the size of the font. In another similar video you said to use 'command shift O' to put anchor points on the text and that doesn't do anything either. Have you changed settings in your illustrator or has the 2023 version changed so much that these videos are now out of date?

Tried to find this answer in the comments but, so you make the logo and branding with your custom font.. so what happens if the client needs additional brand material made in the future that says a headline in your custom font style instead of like their business name. Would they come to you to design that as well bc here you aren’t making a font to “save and reuse” Is that right?

What pantone color book do you use since you are mostly doing just the digital aspect? I've been binging your videos after not being in school for a while (I have a minor in graphic design) and I'm trying to build my personal brand, but I'm totally stumped on which color book to use since I don't have any plans of printing anything yet and therefore don't know if it would be coated or uncoated.
