The sets were so much better back then and more realistic. It had atmosphere. That club actually felt like a club

Directed by Jamie Annette? Any relation to the great Paul Annette I wonder, who directed the great Amicus film The beast must die?(1973).

The set the same faces in the background the lack of authenticity in Enders today is a world apart from how realistic it once looked even the format they film it in the Hugh definition and movie like picture content when filmed outdoors looks ridiculous. The cafe the club even the vic all usto have atmosphere and authenticity

The quality of filming back then probably had a lot to do with it tbh. The artificial nature of the sets is easier to show up in HD

If that was today's EE, Saskia would vanish when Steve and Matthew were out of the room, and then turn up alive at the nightclub at the end of the episode alive, but with a sore head. She'd say "You tried to kill me Steve".
