My parents and I moved away from Thamesmead in 2010. Even though Thamesmead is rather grotty these days, I imagined the Julia theme playing when we moved. Especially when my mum started crying as we went out the front door of our old house for the last time.

This played in my head when I worked at my school store the day after my friend Leo's untimely death in a car accident last May, near my hometown of Post Falls.

@TheAgent181 They are playing a revamped version, an alternate version, the snippets released are a lot slower and more heart wrenching, we never thought it would be possible!! It will be known as Peggys Theme, and played tonight when she leaves :'(

They used to play the Julia's theme for special moments only now they seem to play it for anything such as the time when Amira was leaving. I used to hear it only once or twice in 6 mouths, have heard it at the end of Eastenders at least 3 times in the last month lol

Eastenders should of played the julia's theme at the end of the live episode when Bradley died rather than the tut tut. That would of made it an even sadder ending

@TheLegends1231 It was played at Stacey's departure and Bradley's fueral but wasn't played at Peggy's departure, she had her own theme (Peggy's theme) but it is very similar to this, only a bit different. Both beaufiful peices of music :)

I know it sounds weird, but I am with BethhLovessYouuu - I want this played at my funeral, too.

The version used on Eastenders is slightly different to this. The bit at 0:22 repeats the section at 0:05 normally. The version used in Frank's funeral was at a more higher pitch also. The bit at 1:16 I think was Frank's version.
