5:50 Laura looked so lonely. She was a good woman and i didnt like how the writer at this time treated her character. 8:40 stubborn old goat! Love that bit from Derek.

It was explained that Derek had slept with Mark in this episode (off screen) and contracted hiv and that was the reason they gave when he left again many years later history repeating itself
