Nebraska tractor test for the 560 gas was in 1958 5 gallon per hour at pto engine speed. I think that is right.

For cattle sheds, I much preferred chopped cornstalks over straw. With all the dairy farms near me while farming,it was rare to see any cornfield that the stalks weren't chopped and round baled for bedding after combining.

We used to run an old Fox 425 1 row chopper on our 560. could chop in 2nd gear with torque back. It did drink the gas though.

Pulled a 717 super New Holland for quite a few years with a 560. They sure sound good under a load. Only problem is listening to the gas gurgling out of the tank where it’s drinking it.😂

U have grass head for that chopper and I can use that to make bedding and we put chopped straw on ground to bed u can use cornstalks like that

The cow in the introduction might be bloated LOL. You might want to consider adding weight to the rear end of the 560. It will help if pulling something hard from spinning out with all the extra power.

Tractor runs really nice. Was it a bit under powered for the job?

Do you know of a good place to get parts for your gehl cb400, I have one as well and need to get some parts.

It must be really dry in the field for you to do that
