An alternative to the Easter dove (more elaborate to make at home, I made it a few years ago, look here 👉 • Colomba di Pasqua fatt... ) faster to make being a classic brioche, but very good all the same, soft and fragrant, reminiscent of Easter!
In the filling I added, in addition to the dried fruit, also 6-7 Amaretti biscuits with almonds which give a good flavor and crunchiness!
The Brioche dough is my classic orange and lemon flavored dough, then the candied orange peel, raisins and walnuts do the rest! Making this dessert fluffy inside and crunchy on the surface!
It stays soft for 2-3 days! Do it again for your family, for a good healthy and complete breakfast, or a nice bow is enough and it's a nice gift to bring at Easter!
🌡️ We bake at 175° Static 170° Ventilated for about 20 minutes
📝Ingredients:
500 g of flour 0
10 g fresh brewer's yeast (or 4 g dry brewer's yeast)
2 eggs
80 g of Butter
90 g of Sugar
150 ml of milk (slightly warm)
zest of 1 lemon
zest of 1 orange
For the filling:
50 g Soft butter (or margarine)
5 teaspoons of sugar (30 g)
4 Walnuts
7 “Amaretti” biscuits (25 g)
50 g Candied orange peel
50 g Raisins
Almond grain
