Our Cruise continues with a six day crossing of the Pacific Ocean to Alaska.
We visited Alaska's State capitol - Juneau and went panning for gold.
Then we were taken to Icy Straits at Hoonah where we were lucky enough to come across a pod of Humpback Whales in the wild who put on a show for us, before giving us a mexican wave goodbye.
A bear hunt at the top of a mountain was our next activity. Luckily we did not become their picnic.
we also had a cruise in Glacier Bay National Park where we saw magnificent arctic scenery, amazing wildlife and a glacier breaking off into the bay all capped off with a goodbye wave from a killer whale.
We were blessed with the weather throughout our week in Alaska with temperatures above 25 degrees centigrade everyday and sunsets that became sunrise within an hour.
