Anyone else use cedar for camp wood?
Justin Vance is man of many trades. Unlike others he masters most of them. He's the shop foreman here at Eastonmade. Like most any other hard working blue collared lad he also takes on other endeavors. To say this guy is busy is an understatement. Yes there's really not much this fellow can't do and do well. We're pretty lucky to have him around to keep us all on track.
I guess what I'm getting at is that its hard to soar with the eagles if you run with the turkeys. We have an incredible crew of guys here at Eastonmade that all work together to build the best splitters on the planet.
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to watch the video. It means the world to us and is very much appreciated!!!
Give us a call for more information!!!

Absolutely the best woodsplitters on the market. Eastonmade is always improving their products to make the best woodsplitters even better. I love Axis vertical splitters with the lift and conveyor. I think you should try and make your paddles on the conveyor just a little taller, as there were still some wood that the paddles kept missing. Something as simple as some angle iron would probably do the trick. Love your watching your videos, they're always entertaining and full of information!

It looks a little drier than the last video. That's a slick running machine! You guys made filling that pickup with spit wood look easy! There's a nice big work area on the Axis and the foot pedal is a good spot. No 'climbing stairs' looking for it.Great video guys! Keep them coming.

I see some complaining about the reach of the conveyer on this thing , i understand its need to be compact but adding a folding chute maybe 50 cm or so on the end would do a lot, maybe as a optional addon :))

(08.28.20) I have a 9-16 & love it! But, I do see the potential of the Axis, but with rounds 24" & over is there a way to put an 4-way wedge on. An how difficult would it be to change out. Plus what is the distance from the backstop to the front drop off. I've seen people try to run a 48" round on a Wolf Ridge its almost funny as Red Green. Right now I use an old Champion horizontal & vertical. But, with the thickness of the double metal foot plate it doesn't have good stability. So out comes the splitting wedge & 8lb sledgehammer. (Archaic)
