Try mixing some almond extract into the cherries next time! I bet it would be good! Also, use a pastry blender and cut to solid butter into the sry mix like you were making a pie crust. That mixes the butter evenly.

Put anything in those aluminum pans on a cookie sheet or sheet pan before putting the aluminum container in the oven. Makes it easier to handle and catches any overflow. I know you know this. Some of your followers might not.
