HI Ms. Shellie I love these techniques you use to get the "great" beachy waves you have!!....... question?????...... do you air dry your hair before you to bed???..??... blow-dry it???.....? or go to bed with your hair wet????.... I don't think you would do the latter?????......

Thanks for watching konichiwa 50! If I have enough time, I let it dry naturally and if not, I blow-dry the half dried hair before I go to bed...Have a great weekend ❤️

fabulous50s HI again Ms. Shellie I am very happy with my results using your techniques in this vlog........ I don't use nearly as much heat as before........ I slept with a ponytail after air drying and a light blow dry.......... I didn't need to use my flat iron or barrel curling iron as much either........ much better on my ends!!!!...... THANK YOU again!!!!🖖🖖🖖🖖🖒😉😉😉😉😉😉😉

To refresh, I just tong a few stands here and there. The beachy waves look really good. Really pleased with it.

I have curly frizzy hair and I have found L'Oreal Elvive Smooth Intense Shampoo and Conditioner work best. If I want to leave my hair curly instead of blow drying and flat ironing, I use L'Oreal Air Dry It Wave Swept Spray. Great stuff, doesnt make your hair crunchy just nice soft curls that stay smooth without the frizz. Love your channel! Keep up the great work !

I have three tips for frizz control. 1) never use a towel in hair. Either use a hair turban or a t-shirt. 2) I never blow dry my hair. I let it dry on its own, and I still add a heat protectant to the ends because of UV rays from the sun. 3) instead of brushing downward through my hair if it is tangled, I always start from the ends of my hair and work my way up slowly. 😊 have a beautiful day!

I like to do the twist method on each side (one big twist on each side) and I leave it like that and let it dry like that occasionally going over it. Then I'll do it one more time with water. I twist it very tight. So after both times have dried I have amazing beach waves and if I want a bit more when I wake up I'll just scrunch it a bit with my hand after wetting it a bit with water or hairspray.

Just discovered your channel and I ADORE YOU SO MUCH! We are hair twins (except I am dyed glorious red instead of glorious blonde). I too have thick hair that has turned grey and gotten a little frizzy, which I love, I now have volume! But I have never had the perfect haircut. You have it! I want it! I have you length and long layers which I love, but whenever I have asked for fringe it's always too short or too thick or not angled enough, no matter what picture I bring. Please please please do a haircut video, with your hairdresser if possible, so I can make mine watch and learn!

I'm going to try some of your tips, you have really nice hair! I have shorter hair but it is so frizzy, thick, and some parts are curly and other parts are wavy. I started using WOW products and it has changed the dynamics of my hair. Now I love my thick unmanageable hair because of WOW. My hair is no longer frizzy and I live in Florida which is full of humidity especially now in the dead of summer. I think these products are worth trying. I'm not a spokesperson or anything like that. I order off of Amazon!

Great vid subscribed ! We over 50's should stick together 60 later this year for me Yikes!!!!! It's ony a number... right!? hahaha I sleep on a silk pillowcase it really combats frizzies I have that thick poofy frizzzy curly hair so I know the struggle. My fave products to use when styling are a combo of Olaplex Oil or you could use your fave hair oil with Revlon Uniq One Lotus Flower Hair 10 in 1 Treatment Cream, I've found this combo really tames my hair for days and days ✅ I use a barrel curler most of the time and my waves/curls stay in for days like yours, we have similar hair issues I think! Love the vids

Hi Schellea! Your fabulous hair is the first thing I ever noticed about you. Those extensions are a fabulous idea - I like that you don't need a whole head's worth to get such a good effect. This is an excellent tutorial - you're such a magical presenter - I could see you with your own lifestyle show on Foxtel! Love the ladies at the end, too - Hello to Keryn in Adelaide - always excited to meet a fellow Aussie!! xoxoLisa

Schellea, thank you so much for the hair help! I would love to know where you got your extension pieces and also what curling iron you are using. Basically I would just like to do everything you are doing and can't wait to try the products suggested. I have just recently decided to reinvent myself this summer with my no personal style whatsoever wardrobe and have watched your tutorial about the type clothes that are flattering. Could you tell me where you get your groovy long shirts that look so great and hip. Never thought that was possible at my age but you have shined new light on that! Keep up the great work and thanks again. :)

Thanks so much for watching Shirley! Thats so exciting...I love that you are reinventing yourself... It doesn't matter where you have been with style, it only matters where your going...I will be looking for some styles to recommend moving forward because everything that I wear is more than one season old and not for sale any more...We get to totally do what ever we want at our age...Im so happy you are busting out 👍Have a fantastic weekend🌸

Hi Schellee ( sorry if I spelt your name wrong) I’m so grateful for this video. Since I discovered your channel I’ve wondered how you do your hair as I alive the way it looks. I have very similar hair to yours ( but not red). Mine is highlighted and frizz, but fine, and I don’t like to have the same look every day, bout would be happy if I could get your look. So, this video was perfect for me. I recently had a cut and rehighlighted, but feel she cut a bit too much off- it was past my bra strap, and she took off a boy 2-3 inches, but gave me light layers, so pros and cons. I do now also have a light fringe, which I’m not too chuffed with however I think with your technique I’ll be able to blend it in. With regards to frizz, I do have one tool which I think is brilliant, it’s the babyliss spinning brush, www.amazon.co.uk/BaByliss-Hair-Rotating-Styling-Brush/dp/B00E91T0OS/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2VEF6I02PK2BK&keywords=babyliss+hair+curler&qid=1576349301&s=luxury-beauty&sprefix=Babyliss+%2Cluxury-beauty%2C183&sr=1-6-catcorr which is a round brush on a hair dryer, and the brush spins as it dries. The end result is fantastically smooth and silky feeling hair, I love it but don’t use it often as I try to keep heat off my hair as mush as possible. Also this product is good for maintaining hair as it was styled, until the next wash : www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00M9B66BU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Infusium23 leave in treatment works wonders on frizz. 2 things: It works best when hair isn’t excessively wet. Also, it’s best to spray it in a light mist.

I used to be a hair stylist and I still can not master the round brush. You have really nice volume in your hair and I love your darker red hair color. Too many older women go blonde which makes darker hair look more unique in my opinion.
