EASY BINAKI RECIPE... Binaki is famous in corn producing region like Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro in Mindanao... In other places they call this kakanin as Pintos or Sweet Corn Tamales. How to make Binaki is so easy... by just grinding sweet corn kernels and combining it with other ingredients, wrapping it with corn husks before steaming for 30 minutes you"ll have a delicious Binaki suman like kakanin.
Ingredients:
3 pcs big sweet yellow corn
1 cup rice flour or cornmeal
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup condensed milk
3 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

My mother is an ilokana, I have been taught to cook binaki using 3 ingredients, coconut, sugar and corn kernels only and it seems like it was the original ingredients of binaki. And steamed it until it cook and it softened. Hihi

Tama lang po... Kaya may condensed milk para maging creamy pero hindi pwede maraming cond milk kasi magiging malabnaw kay asukal na lang idadagdag
