Very nice. And the first time I've seen blue sea in Weston! :D Old pier burned down in 2008 I believe but I'm lucky enough to have many childhood memories there. Good distance and mood. Sky blended very nicely in the end too!

I like the way you always manage to capture the essence of small boats with a few flicks. Ive been obsessed lately with trying to capture the scenes from the other end of that beach, down at the Uphill end, and always struggled with the water colour (is it brown? The sky reflected on it makes it blue in places, the mud - at that end - showing through). It’s a nightmare. If you ever get a chance to paint at the other end and can do a painting of the boats that moor in the small channel there I would live to see how you do that. The reed beds are also quite interesting. It’s quite flat and empty though. Anyway, enough ramble, really enjoyed the painting and thank you again.
