Damn it looks sooo good in there!!! I'm going to utilize this tutorial and impress my mother. She reno'd gmas house and moved in recently to help me care for gma! We found a stunning vintage slatted wooden bench with beautifully tapered legs in MINT condition! A pristine mid-century treasure! She wants to add a cushion but we cannot find a texture we like. I spray the cushion with adhesive before I put the batting on. Always start in the center when stapling.

Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! After watching this, I am now feeling much less stressed about an upcoming reupholstery project. I just have one question: Do I need to account for the seam allowance when measuring and cutting the fabric?

If you’re not using a board underneath I would suggest sewing the whole cover instead :)
