1 Cup Chana Dal
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour (Atta)
1/4 Cup Rava/Sooji /Semolina
1/2 Cup Coriander Leaves
1/8 Tsp Asafoetida
2 Green Chilies
7 Garlic Cloves
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds
2 Tbsp + 1 Tsp Ghee
1 Tsp Oil
1 Sprig Curry Leaves
Chili Powder
Salt

In Bihar call this recipe as peetha but authentically it's make from rice flour and have two process of cooking either boiled water or steam it. It can also cook in sweet form with milk but not this process😊😊😊

Yes n also in UP called fara bt we used equal portion of chana dal n urad dal n ya we also prepare in rice flour😊 n we also use boiling water for making fara aur bache hue ko hum fry kar k khate h bohot testy lagta h sach me😊😛😋

In UP (kanpur-lucknow side) this is called भकोसे and my mom & grandmother makes is very often , very tasty as well as healthy 😋

Most of us call it Pharaa. I have heard only some in kanpur lucknow calling it bhakosa. In rest of the UP bhkosa means eating like a wild animal or devouring something greedily.

In UP this is called farre ...some additions - Add little urad dal while soaking . In the dough add at least half portion of rice flour ( more the better) After cooking in water , it can also be wrapped in masala ( onion garlic ginger paste cooked with haldi dhania and mirch
