I totally forgot yo mention this! Yes, I reused mine from last year as well! I kept about 1/3 of the vanilla in the jar and then re-topped it with the alcohol. I'v heard you can reuse them quite a number of years!

Goodness Adaline it's years since I've seen you I'm sure you only had two small girls at the time. You were having some personal problems at that time as we all do. Nobody's business but yours. But you were really into your decorating at that time and you were really good. Felt quite jealous to be truthful. What was it you said paint was a renters friend I was always amazed what you could decorate a room. I'm really glad you're still going strong still busy and your husband is still into playing his sports at that time. But I'm glad to see you so happy doing what you do so we'll, don't know how I lost you. Look after yourselves. Till next time.

I just found your channel. I enjoyed your video. I'm not gluten-free, but I eat plant-based. I recently made pancakes that your family will enjoy using buckwheat flour (despite its name, it's gluten free) and oatmeal flour. Here's how to make them: ½ cup buckwheat groats, ground (You can also use buckwheat flour.) ½ cup oatmeal, ground (You can also use oat flour.) 2 Tablespoons flaxseeds, ground into a meal 2 teaspoons baking powder 6 soft pitted dates 1 Tablespoon black sesame seeds (optional) 1 cup soymilk 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Using a high speed blender, blend the groats and oatmeal into a flour. Add the flax meal, the baking powder and the dates. Blend until the dates are completely ground into the dry mixture. Set aside. Add 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar to 1 cup milk to make “buttermilk.” Set aside for 10 minutes to allow it to curdle. Add the vanilla extract to the “buttermilk.” Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Add the black sesame seeds, if using. Stir well. Allow the batter to sit about 10 minutes to thicken before cooking. Heat a skillet/griddle. Spray it with a bit of oil. Add about 1/3 cup batter to the pan. When the bottom of the pancake browns to your liking, flip the pancake to cook the other side.

I bought a pressure canner six years ago, and have been too scared/overwhelmed to open it until last week! I made four batches of chicken stock and canned it, and it was so rewarding to have finally faced my fears! I now have 12 quarts and two pints, and have caught the canning bug! 😆 Beans, potatoes, and chicken soup are next.

You should get started canning very fun and rewarding! Once you get your collection of jars and equipment needed it will be a blessing. I love making broth from saved onion peels and veggies scraps, or healthy bone broth from bones cooked in crockpot couple days, then canned! Saves so much money for easy, cheep, healthy bone broth! Get you a pressure canner, you will love canning! Also there is water-bath canning I do BOTH water-bath equipment much cheeper! Blessings!
