For anyone wondering, the half revolution flip occurs in the following direction: from thumb towards down your palm, and naturally, index side of the coin, goes up. I know it because I watched it at 25% speed, all of them. Hope this info helps on your practicing. Also don't forget to til it down foward, when holding the 3 coins before the half revolution; this slight inclination helps gravity to finish the job. What a beautiful gem Rick has given to us!!

This trick is AWESOME! I love it. I'm thinking this would be a good trick to do where they don't see the penny until the very end. Also, I like to use each coin to turn the other around. It is more deceptive and it helps transfer the penny. At the end, I say: "Watch, we rub the two quarters together... and make a baby coin."

Wow, what a fun move that one from Vanni Bossi is! I was following along in my mirror, and when I reached the 6:40 mark and you instructed how to let the penny roll from one thumb to the next, I literally burst out laughing as I saw how it worked and executed the move, because it was so satisfying and so diabolical. Not as hard as it seems like it should be, either! Thank you so much for this - this is a cute, fun trick with a distinctive flavor, and I'm grateful you've chosen to share it with all of us.

Absolutely fantastic! Home run Rick. You have a great way about you. I think I'd like to include some patter about my grandfather telling me to pick up pennies on the ground, as they are good luck if the head is facing up. That could segway from good luck into a magic penny when combined with 2 half dollars. Love it.

Wow, I enjoyed this video so bad... I rewatched the effect several times before the explanation, and got delighted every single one of them. And the method it's even better... @@RickHolcombe you're not asking me, but please allow me to share: I saw this effect on your short videos, and I went nuts before you gave this video explanation. I was thinking that you were using gimmicked coins (not sure if you're a purist though, and not entirely sure, where such gimmicks could be found, if they existed lol). Then I felt like that was an unreasonable theory. I aborted it, and finally came to the conclusion that it was just a great help from angles, and something that would only work for KZfaq... Well, days later, scrolling down your channel, and I find this video... now you can imagine my happiness lol Thank you, Rick!!

Hi Rick, congrats one 10k! I have a question, do you use the flipper coin alot, and will you be releasing any material for the flipper coin? Also, I was wondering where I could get a really good morgan flipper coin from.
@RickHolcombe
@RickHolcombe Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I love using a flipper, but I don't have anything really unique using one. In my opinion, the best routine you can do with a flipper is Eric Jones routine "Spectator Visual Coins Across" he did it on Penn and Teller and America's Got Talent. You should check out Mark Mason's site jbtvusa.com

When I saw the two large coins and the penny I thought it was going to be the trick where the large coins are held in edge grip, hidden behind the penny. Gotta figure out how to make a little routine with those two tricks combined. Speaking of bad material in books, the coin flip reminds me of an unimpressive trick where three coins are held face up then dropped in the spectator's hand. Afterward, the middle coin is shown to have turned face down. Super knacky, I could never get the move to work, plus it's a terrible trick.
