Hey guys, in this video I'll show you how I achieved this crochet faux loc bob utilizing 2 crochet techniques. You can absolutely use one or the other but I wanted to test the cornrow-less method that I've seen floating around here on YT. If you need a more detailed tutorial on this particular method, check out BeautyWithTy 's video. I pretty much followed her video ( • NO Cornrows | Super Ea... ) to a T!! She's amazing!

Cha Cha Hey! I used the 8in up until my ear, 10 in the middle up until maybe the first 3 rows on either side, and the 12 in the very top. thanks for watching, love! 😘

Very nice! I notice you didn't wrap any additional hair around the top where the crochet and your natural hair are interlocked. is it less noticeable to where u don't need it to blend in?

Thanks! I tried that but opted not to because I made sure to wrap the loc around the base a couple of times before going down the length of my hair. I found that the extra wrapping made the root kinda stiff and made them stick out. I'll be updating this way to let you know if it stayed this way or not!

You have the best faux bob locs question? So where do I order this hair from and you don't start with the longer hair you said you started with the eight ten and so on help please I want this style

How long did the individuals last? Did any come undone?

They lasted for the duration of the style. I kept them in for a month, couldve been longer, but I was read for a new style. Everything stayed in tact! Will be revisiting soon!

So 2 packs would be enough for anyone looking to achieve this style and can you pull it into a low bun? Or a low ponytail?

India Wilson I would get 3 if you want a fuller look than what I have. You could probably get a low ponytail, not sure about a low bun.

KissableCurls okay I want it to look just like yours, how do I explain this to my stylist and did you put less 12ins in the top or did you put alot ? If that makes sense also I had a picture of some twists I wanted to know if it they were the same as the ones you have could I dm them pic to you?

Yes, you can. I put the 12 from temple to temple in the very top. I spaced it out all throughout the back because I didnt want it bulky at all. So I layed them like bricks.

KissableCurls what lengths did you put in what places? I'm assuming you used 8 in the back, 10 on the sides and 12 in the front. what did you use on the top?

From the nape to just above the ears was 8", from there to the temple area was 10", and 12 in the top!
