Hi everyone 👋 I have an easy, step by step crochet tutorial for you today! Crochet along with me and make this adorable easy crochet baby headband (US crochet terms used).

BEGINNERS: Remember that you can adjust the speed of the video in the settings tab. If it’s too fast, you can always slow it down even further!
You will learn how to make two sizes: 0-6 months and 6-12 months.
Finished measurements:
Size 0-6 months (excluding ties, unstretched): should measure 32 cm / 12.5cm approx.
Size 6-12 months (excluding ties, unstretched): should measure 34 cm / 13.5cm approx.
PLEASE NOTE: Headbands, whether they be store bought or handmade, should always be removed before placing baby in the crib (or anywhere else) to sleep. Please also take care to monitor baby when they are wearing a headband and never leave baby unattended whilst wearing one.
This is an easy crochet tutorial and I’ll show you what to do step by step. The following stitches are used:
ch(s) - chain(s)
dc - double crochet
Hdc - half double crochet
sl st - slip stitch
sp - space
st(s) - stitch(es)

So quick and easy to make! Thank you! I had knitted a little dress in 4ply yarn and was wondering how to math it with acessories. I didn't have enough for the bootees so I roheted them in white and used the blue dess colour yarn as the contrast round the sole and the bow. I had enough left to make this lovely head band. As it is 4ply yarn I used a smaller crochet hook and worked a few more rows and I am very pleased with it. The dress. botees and head band will look so cute together. I'm already planning to make some more and am eyeing up the beads I have. I will work them in so they cannot be removed or fall off for safety.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Amanda! Yes, it’s a wonderful mother- daughter time, which is never enough for a mom 😊 Long stretches but she wants me to wait for her. Started the shoes and finished the soles, a few weeks ago 😆 I’m waiting for her…. I can do a pair the same day now, but I don’t want to push her. Amanda, you have no idea what a life saver it was for me when I found the crocheting, and your videos !! And I want to tell this all the ladies that start watching your videos and are beginners…. Try, stick with it and I promise you, it will help you so much, especially when you are having a tough time in your life, where you would not want to get out of bed….. I lost my beloved mom, struggling with a mentally ill son, then covid time followed, health issues and more. Sure, there is worse than what I experienced, but I had a really bad time. The crocheting helped me to keep my sanity, for sure!!! I watched many different videos but Amanda’s, with her calming voice, helped me the most!! When I commented on other videos, that I like what they crochet but I couldn’t keep up and have to pause every 5 seconds, I just got an answer like :” then you must be a beginner and you can’t do this.” Very frustrating! But it’s okay. I stick with Amanda! Hahaha. And to the older ladies I want to say….never think you’re too old to learn something new!!! I’m not old old, but I’ll be 61 by the end of the year and I’m crocheting only since a year! I can’t even skip one day without crocheting 😄 If anyone wonders about my name….I’m German, living in Canada since 26 years. Happy Sunday everyone !! ☀️😎

This headband works up beautifully and is so pretty and feminine. I've already made two to give away! I did have a little trouble with the flowers at the ends. Mine don't look like yours but they still add to the headband!

Hi Jenna, you can adjust the speed in the settings tab under 'Playback speed'. You can slow the video right down to make it easier for you to follow along. You need to have some knowledge of crochet before attempting my patterns; Bella Coco Crochet has a great beginners series if you need help with this. I hope that this information is helpful for you and good luck with your crochet projects! 💝

Her projects are for beginners. Not for the people who are holding a hook and yarn for the first time. There are some main terms like slip knot, slip stich, half double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet to be learnt first. If done, come back to these videos. Her videos are more informative than other youtubers.
