So in Phoenix, we have about 1.2 Parts Per Trillion out of the tap. With my year old filter system I am reading around 600 PPM. So it is time to change the entire membrane and other filters? Should I also be flushing this thing periodically?

Can this system remove salt, from salt water for drinking purposes? Im looking to purchase for my home and a separate one for a DIY project.

Hey Gary, I'm looking for a RO system for under my sink. I am on a well and it IS treated, just need the RO system for my wife's peace of mind. I don't have much space under there so I am considering a tankless system. Do you sell one or could you recommend one?

Sorry, no I don’t like or recommend them. Not at all happy with the water quality and they require hydro since they have an internal pump to push the water through the membrane. Do you have hydro at the install location?

@@GarytheWaterGuy I am not familiar with what a Hydro is. I was only considering a tankless because of the small space under the sink I have.

@@hylander40 when I say hydro I mean they need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Do you have an electrical outlet under the sink or in your install location?

Does this filter any radioactive materials out of water in case of nuclear fallout?

Reverse osmosis membranes can remove up to 99% of radioactive elements such as uranium and radium from water. This makes reverse osmosis highly effective for the treatment of radioactive water.
