My preferred method is to use a scalpel to just get in under the components heat the joint and just lift the end either by twisting the blade or using it like a seesaw with another component. Little bit more controlled. Nice video by the way.

Next Aliexpress purchase, tweezers! Get yourself to Poundland when they open again, they have a multi pack which has a set of forceps in the pack, very useful 👍

Cheers Craig, I do have lots of tweezers...somewhere in the workshop! I keep meaning to do a tour video but its too embarrassing just now lol. I have 8 days off work after tonight so I'm going to get organised lol

I had to do this, this week, but my terrible soldering iron meant I over did and pull up the copper pads.... so resorting to using a dab of super glue is hold the switch in place, and using conductive paint.... here's hoping

You'd be better using 'bodge' wires.
