I can't express my gratitute enough Andy. I was without central locking for years, changed the battery, reprogrammed the key, nothing worked so i stopped trying. Today i gave it another go and stumbled on your video. It freaking works Andy, i can't believe it!!! Thank you!!!

After owning my mk6 for nearly 2 years now, I never thought it could be this. With only having one key to the car, it was frustrating having to repeatedly press the button to get the car to unlock and sometimes even having to turn the key in the door. Tried this little fix and worked straight away. Cheers Andy

Andy, Thanks so much for posting this video clip - it worked a treat. I just bought a Fiesta as a cheap run-about on the Isle of Wight and the guy selling it said the key fob 'just needed a new battery' - which wasn't the problem. Now fixed - thanks to you - and the remote works fine. Good Man,

For nearly 3 years ive got my Mk6 and never could ive figured out how to get rid of this problem, and you just did it for so many of us. so as soon as i saw your upload i ran to my keyfob not even finish watching you and did as you did while pausing you, and guess what ! it FREAKUM WORKED!!! Like many others here in the comments, Having had issues with by remote key fob on my Ford fiesta 2006 Never as it worked properly? Despite having a new battery and programmed, Pressing the key fob so hard almost breaking my thumb!! Thanks to you that's all in the past!! Such a quick fix less than 2mins brilliant 😃😲👍

I noticed some wear to pcb where it contacted the silver sprung clip and gave the clip a tweak and it worked thanks for the video son now has working remote for his Fiesta.

Hmm so Its likely the motor in the boot lid or it's the sensor on the boot latch

I would if thought if water has got in then the it will no longer work. You will need to buy a new key and put the immobiliser from the damaged key in new key and program it

I've done this and added a new battery and it still doesn't work, and when it somewhat does all buttons unlock the car, except the actual unlock button. Or it just has a mind of its own and tries unlocking itself constantly

@DriveWithAndy yeah, about that one 😂😂 I've tried ro reprogram the key, so infinitum on/off 4 times then press any button on the fob then it should beep again... however my buttons simply just dont do anything I'm very confused as the key worked like 1.5 hrs ago

oh gutted, strange as yu are the first to say it didnt work. Have you tried to re set the buttons? there will be a video on calibrating the buttons

@@the_rosalina so you turned the key 5 times like in the video, when back to the 1st position you pressed a button on your keyfob. Took key out and tried but nothing?
