Good vid. That little thing does work all right. If that's St. Augustine grass, that's tough stuff. Ya'll going to end up with lots of garden space between town and farm. Looks like a family tradition.

you didnt rake the cutted grass?

No. Covered the tilled plot with tarps. Will let those sit on it for a couple weeks. That will make sure grass is dead and starts to compost into the soil. Thanks for watching and commenting!!

@@usmcgunz1066Did you covered the plot BEFORE mixing the garden soil/compost or AFTER?

Added soil and tilled that in. After that, covered for a few weeks. Then added a little more soil and re-tilled before planting.

What happens if you hit a rock?

Fortunately, I have not encountered that yet. But…this is a light weight tiller. I do not think it would do well in rocky soil. I’m sure fist-sized (or slightly smaller) rocks would get jammed in between the tines. And larger rocks would potentially damage/destroy the tiller. Thanks for watching!!

I've had one for two seasons I ran over my electric cord just a few minutes ago and now I can't get it to turn on any suggestions from anyone?

Also we live in very rocky soil and it worked great clearing it all out last year I was very careful but it worked just great
